Change is part of growth. Today we thank Torbjørn for his commitment and impact as CTO, and warmly welcome Bárður who is stepping into the CTO role. Bárður has warmed up as a Leading Advisor in Hydrodynamics since April.
Here are their own words about passing the torch:
“Over the past 2.5 years, I have had the privilege of serving as Acting CTO and being part of an exceptionally strong and forward-thinking technology development team".
Developing new technology is not only about improving the product itself, but also about advancing the methodologies and software tools that make such progress possible. This work takes time, and it is often the accumulation of many small steps that ultimately leads to meaningful innovation.
As much as I have enjoyed these challenges and the journey at Havkraft, other obligations now require my focus. It was not an easy decision, and I leave this fall with a heavy heart. At the same time, I have full confidence in the team’s ability to meet the challenges ahead and to continue driving the development of world-class OWC technology.
I wish the entire team the very best of luck and success as they carry this important work forward. All the best, from Torbjørn Ruud Hagen
