New patent approved
December 29th 2011: Havkrafts unique wave reflector WARE, developed by Geir Arne Solheim, has now been granted a patent. Tests conducted in Stadt Towing Tank in Måløy shows impressive results, boosting the H-WECs capacity by 60 %.

Roger Flølo new chairman
October 24th 2011: Roger Flølo is appointed new chairman of the board in Havkraft AS. Flølo is a partner in Fjord Invest Management which is one of the owners in Havkraft AS. Flølo replaces Sven Flo who became Mayor in the community of Stryn, Norway, after this autumn's election.

Effective technology
Our test results shows that Havkraft's system seems to be very effective. We see the outlines of a system that has answers to all the critical factors for a successful wave power technology. High efficiency, high survival level in the sea, longevity, moderate investment and maintenance costs, no moving parts in contact with water, no electronics below sea level and the use of known technology and experience from the offshore-related activity on the Norwegian west coast.
Successful hydrodynamic verifications
August 1st 2011: Havkraft has run several successful, hydrodynamic verifications at Stadt Towing Tank in Måløy. This makes the basis for the company's upcomming, fullscale prototype to be launched at "Testsite Stad" in 2012.
